What Our Families Say:

I learned so much information related to first aid for littles, not just CPR and the Hemlich, but those were extremely beneficial to learn and practice as well.

Easy to follow, hands-on practice was great. I could have stayed here another hour!

Instructor was very knowledgeable with real-life scenarios and personal stories from having a child as well. I’m so happy my wife signed us up for this class

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a certification class?

Safe Beginnings is designed for parents and caregivers who want practical emergency response skills and confidence caring for infants and children. Certification is not included, but can be provided for an additional fee.

Can grandparents attend?

Absolutely. Grandparents, babysitters, and other caregivers are encouraged to attend.

Do I need prior CPR experience?

No prior experience is necessary.

How long is the class?

Our baby and child CPR and first aid class is 2.5 hours. This allows ample time for questions, hands-on practice, and real-life scenarios to prepare you and your loved ones.

Can I bring my baby?

We know arranging childcare isn’t always easy, especially for new parents. Our goal is to create a calm, focused environment where caregivers can fully participate in hands-on learning and emergency discussions, so we ask that children not attend class sessions.

If needed, we’re happy to share a list of trusted babysitters and childcare resources to help make attending class easier.
